SODIUM PERIODATE (Sodium Metaperiodate) is used as a source of periodic acid, analytical reagent, oxidizing agent. Powerful oxidizer in acid solution, it is used for oxidation of some organic compounds. In screen-printing a traditional solvent-based screen reclamation system consisting of lacquer thinner as the ink remover, sodium periodate solution as the emulsion remover.
